Neat. Would it be easier to use an existing Windows client to make the
Windows screensaver? Is the assumption that people will download the
screensaver because it looks cool and then this will lead to people
trying out netrek? I think if the Vanilla server was ported to Windows
this could lead to many new public servers and may see resurgence of
Paradise netrek as well as Windows client development in general.
Seems to major work has been done on a Linux client in years, aside
from revisions to existing Linux clients. Anyone interesting in making
a Next Generation Linux client?
