My netrek-client-cow repository now contains gettext support, which has been briefly tested for main.c only. If anyone would like to take on the next step of translatable string marking, please let me know. It involves changing: "some string" to _("some string") but only in cases where the text is for a human not a machine. You will need to know how to use darcs, and a text editor, and a bit of C programming skills. Tell me before you start, in case we collide. Once a reasonable number of strings are marked, we can produce a .pot file for translators to work with.
