Date: Tue Jul 5 09:57:30 2005 Subject: [netrek] CVS: Please update web doc references to repo Message-ID: <20050615180342.53B4D1CE504@ws1-6.us4.outblaze.com> Folks, We're seeing more questions from new users about how to build the server on channel #netrek. Apparently they are going to places like http://vanilla.us.netrek.org/ and http://www.netrek.org/developer/ and d/l Vanilla-2.9pl8.tar.gz. As a result, the newer users keep falling into the 's/stdargs.h/varargs.h' trap. References I see there cite CVS servers, which according to my current information should follow what was written on http://sourceforge.net/projects/netrek/. E.g. cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/netrek login cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/netrek co -P modulename [see http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=968] If we could have these web references updated to reflect current practices that would be a great help.
