Will you accept a key if the ability to send messages from the 
application is turned off? 

(I'm thinking of making a server side change to force the slot to be 
dumb if it's this key, if you are unwilling to place the key.  I still 
see anonymous abuse as a design problem.)

Or, could you make a new category for the key and allow the server 
admins to choose from the updated command line?

If we suppose there will be cheating (people observing through this 
channel while playing on the other side), then I guess a one minute
delay on the data stream might come in handy.  I've been thinking of
doing that for standard observers anyway.
