Hi, I thought newbie observers had a bug, but it turns out I was just configuring the ports file incorrectly. I figured this out by reading findslot.c and various other ntserv code. I made some changes in the sample_ports file so people can know how to setup observer ports in a newbie server without having to read through the code.
