Okay, since I've been using Subversion for 18 months, I should chime in. Subversion is great - Works great on Windows, Mac, and *ix - Easy for CVS users to understand. - Can migrate CVS repository and keep all history Subversion plans on enhancements for stuff like distributed development with private repositories (and pretty much all the other complaints listed in dwheeler's essay). But it does not have it now.
